Our Hunters Help Hungry Children Every Day

The Mission Esperanza Foundation provides hot meals to more than 600 underprivileged children each and every day. The free meal program has been implemented to help local families and while offering a good nutrition through an indigenous superfood that can be sourced in the fields.

Our guests collaborate in this project through shooting, and what a fun way for them to help provide “children’s meals from the field! ”

Each week David Denies collects, processes, and donates a large percentage of its harvested doves to the Sister Theresa Foundation. The high-protein meat is then used to create nutritious meals at regional community centers that cater to both families and children in need.

Doves are an important source of vitamin C, as well as B1 and B6, both of which aid in a child’s neurological development. The meat is rich in minerals such as zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium and selenium and its high iron content helps in the formation of red blood cells and the upkeep of a properly functioning nervous system. So it  not only tastes good, it is also good for you.
