MOBILE HOSPITAL, SOLIDARITY MISSION IN SANTO DOMINGO

On March 19, Mission Esperanza Foundation volunteers visited Santo Domingo for the first solidarity mission of 2016, with the David Denies’ sponsored Mobile Hospital.

With the aim of providing free monthly health-care services to uninsured people seeking to improve their quality of life, 40 volunteers called “Doctors of La Esperanza” have joined forces, traveling to the most vulnerable areas of northern Cordoba.

More than 200 people received health-care services as part of the latest mission, which included gynecological exams, pediatric care, nursing, cardiology work, and dentistry. Families taking part in the program also received food, milk, and clothing.

Each year, every month, David Denies donates to the cause by helping with travel expenses such as fuel and vehicle maintenance and by contributing food items for the doctors, volunteers, and patients.
